Classes, prices and packages

All training starts with a consultation. At that time, you meet with me and get to see how I interact with you and your dog. We discuss your needs and create a lesson plan that works for your situation. You will be shown foundation skills that you can work on immediately so you're prepared for your first lesson.

My job is to make training fun and effective! I want you to be successful. To better achieve that goal, the consultaion allows me to get a detailed history of your dog's behavior and what you want out of the training.

The cost for the consultation is $15.00, which will be deducted from the price of your first lesson or package when you enroll.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are done in your home. I work with you on basic obedience and manners and problem behaviors, according to what you want addressed.

Your dog learns in his home environment, which is where problem behaviors occur and where they are best solved. I use the set up of your own home and your routine to show you how to fit training into your own lifestyle. Lack of space, distracting neighbors, habituated behaviors, busy life schedules, whatever else you need incorporated into a training plan are all right there with us in the lesson. I show you how to make it work!

One one-hour private in home lesson - $40.00

One Session Wonder

During this three hour long session we focus on one or two problem behaviors. Separation anxiety, guarding, destructiveness are some examples of issues that can be handled in this package. With weekly lessons, training gets broken down into progressive steps, each week building on the previous sessions. Some behavior problems don't need additional sessions. They just need time and consistency from you. During this session, I show you everything you need to continue working without me. I then come back a couple weeks later for a follow up lesson to see your progress and make sure everything is on track.

One three-hour private in home lesson, focusing on the behavior of your choice, plus one one-hour follow up lesson - $154.00

Day Training

Not enough time to train your dog every day? Want a more hands on approach from a professional trainer? Day training might be the solution!

In this plan, I come to your house three times a week and work with your dog myself! This can be done while you're away at work or running errands or even while you're home to watch. Notes are left for you after each session and at the end of the week, a lesson is given to show you what's been worked on and how to continue with it yourself.

Three weeks of day training, plus one lesson at the end of each week - $342.00

Four weeks of day training, plus one lesson at the end of each week - $432.00

Six weeks of day training, plus one lesson at the end of each week - $612.00

Group Lessons

I don't offer formal group classes, in so far as you signing up in advanced for a six or seven or eight week series of classes held at my location. However, if you know other people with dogs and would like to organize a group session yourselves, I am happy to work with multiple people at one time! Locations can be your house, their house or can even rotate between everyone involved, allowing you and your dog to work in different places.

• Have fun with your dog training and be social at the same time!
• Your friends learn with you - practice together outside of class as well and help each other
• When the friends in class with you come over for a social visit, they understand the training you're doing with your dog and won't encourage the bad behaviors

Four one-hour group in home lessons - Two dogs - $120.00 each, Three or more dogs - $90.00 each

Seven one-hour group in home lessons - Two dogs $210.00 each, Three or more dogs - $170.00 each
